A thorough evaluation of the ocular system involves more than checking your prescription. Treatable conditions such as ocular allergies and dry eye can disrupt the external comfort of the eye. By examining the internal health of your eye, Dr. Langle is able to detect conditions which can have a profound effect on vision. Some of these include cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. While some of these conditions do not have a cure, treatment is available. Other ocular findings may suggest systemic findings which can impact the entire body. These can include diabetes, glaucoma, or auto-immune disease.
