Dr. Langle lives in Mt. Greenwood with her husband, two kids, and their dogs, Bella and Gus.

Leeann Schlesser, ABOC Optician

After a nine year hiatus, Leeann returned to eye care full time in 2008.  In that time, she has honed her skills at multiple practices in the southwest suburbs.  In 2014, in keeping with her philosophy that knowledge is power, she pursued her certification through the American Board of Opticianry.  Passing this rigorous test, she became a certified optician, ABOC.  To maintain this certification, Leeann continues to take yearly education classes.  This helps her remain informed on the latest technology in the optical world for you, the patients.

Dedicated to her craft, she is a member of the Opticians Association of Illinois (OAI) and the Opticians Association of America (OAA).

Through her years in the optical industry, Leeann has become well versed on working with multiple insurance benefit plans.  She strives to maximize the benefits for the patient.  She will work with you to explain what is best for you and give you the options that are available to you.

As a resident of Hometown for over 25 years, she has been active in many local organizations.  Currently, she and her family volunteer at the Food Pantry at their church and Boy Scouts.  Leeann and her husband, Mike, have raised 4 beautiful children.  Their oldest have grown to be on their own and live in Wisconsin, Missouri, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Their youngest daughter resides at home and attends Oak Lawn Community High School.  They are allowed to live in their home by the family's pets:  a dog named Mimi and 2 cats, Jingle, and yes, Belle.

Our Beginning

It all started when...

Dr. Langle had a vision.  She wanted to bring quality service and products to the neighborhood in which she resides.  The property on 111th Street remained vacant for years.  But through much hard work and perseverance, Lunettes finally opened its doors in January 2017.
